Given the 13 million tons of waste generated by the “Fashion Week” industry, Preston calls on people to donate or remake their unused clothes, and invites them to join this new “Trash Fashion” line.
Andry Palino, director of DSNY, comments: "Every day people can do a better job by donating clothes instead of throwing them away." In this way, this initiative has proposed to contribute to the “Zero Waste” program in New York.
This new "Trash Fashion" line is now on display and Preston's idea is that people opt for its everyday use.
