People always say, "I can't buy organic products - they are too expensive!" However, there is a good reason to shell out the extra money for organic food: They have no added chemicals, fertilizers, or hormones, therefore a much better fit for our bodies.

If you want to buy organic, but your wallet says otherwise, consider starting with organic fruits and vegetables.

The Environmental Working Group put together the list of "Dirty Dozen", which are the 12 worst foods with pesticides, and it is worth avoiding them to find a green alternative. In contrast, the “Clean Fifteen” are the least likely to be contaminated with pesticide residues, so you can save your money and overcome waste. Take a look at the list below, and organic when that counts!
